A multimedia interactive pavilion to present the city of Bologna to the Shanghai World Expo.
The project
The Municipality of Bologna was selected to take part in the Urban Best Practices Area in World Expo in Shanghai, 2010.
The call for bids for the Bologna Pavillion was attended by more than 50 studios. Loop, in collaboration with Antonio Mastrorocco One-Off design, won the contest with a project that puts together the most symbolic heritage elements of the city (the towers, the porticoes, the square, the old streets, etc.) with the most advanced multimedia and interactive technologies. Heritage and future hand in hand.
One of the most appreciated installations, selected to remain in the World Expo Museum, was an interactive tour by bike in the old streets of Bologna.
